Illustrator Alexandra Petracchi spent the first 15 years of her life as a dancer, influenced by her Mother, a professional dancer and instructor. When she was old enough to choose her own path, she made the decision to express herself as a children's illustrator. Her work is inspired by her love of music, movies, travel and a sincere appreciation of nature's peace and tranquility. She has been invited to show her work at various galleries in France and around the world. As a member of the Idunn Collective, a digital art and performing arts group, she co-created the audiovisual and cinema shows, Kadambini and Sol. She also collaborates with Barthélemy Antoine-Loeff on the photo project, Jörð Andi, and looks forward to developing new interactive and immersive installations, writing and drawing projects. In addition to her successful career, she's a diligent yoga student and aspires to teach in the future. Alexandra currently resides in a quaint Parisian flat with her boyfriend and two frequently used bicycles. When she's truly relaxed, you can find her sipping tea while dreaming of her future adoption of a Border Collie.
